Middleweight Lorenz Larkin would have the chance to challenge for the Strikeforce title on January 12th, but as the champion Luke Rockhold He suffered an injury during training and his chance ended up not materializing. Through his Twitter account, Larkin sent a message to Dana White, president of the UFC (the company that owns the UFC also controls Strikeforce), asking to buy the belt at Black Friday prices, a traditional sales day in the United States.
“Dana White, can you give me the Strikeforce belt for the Black Friday price?”, wrote the middleweight on the microblog.
The Strikeforce organization has not yet commented on the case and has not defined a new opponent for Lorenz Larkin.
