The final point in one of the most beautiful stories in MMA was not the way the fans expected. Anderson Silva ended his time in Ultimate when he was knocked out by the Jamaican Uriah Hall, in the main fight of the UFC Las Vegas 12, last Saturday (31). This Sunday, Spider confirmed his retirement from the sport. But, despite the setback in his farewell, the Brazilian hangs up his gloves 'happy' (see the full publication below).

In a long post, on his Instagram account, Spider began the text by ending doubts about the continuity of his career: 'Today is a very different day for one simple reason, saying goodbye to a lifetime dedicated to my sport'. Afterwards, he says that he didn't expect to be so happy with the end of his career: 'I didn't imagine I would be as happy as I am'.
