Olympic medalist is close to being the second woman hired by the UFC

After getting it right with the beauty Ronda Rousey, the UFC is close to having the second woman hired by the organization. The North American Sara McMann, silver medalist at the Athens Olympics in 2004, is negotiating an agreement with Ultimate. Through her Twitter account, the fighter herself revealed about the negotiation.

“Everyone is asking me if I'm in the UFC. All I know is that it is being worked on. Thank you for your support”, wrote Sara on the microblog.

Like Ronda, McMann fights in the bantamweight category (up to 61 kg) and could be the American's first opponent in the Octagon. She has an MMA record of six wins and no losses in MMA.
