Today is MMA day. This Thursday (29), in Uncasville (USA), Douglas lima tries to make history and win his second title in the company chaired by Scott Coker. In total, 10 presentations are scheduled.

Current welterweight champion (up to 77kg) of the company, Lima wants to join the select group of athletes who occupy two thrones in different categories. The confrontation was confirmed with the intention of taking the place of Rafael Lovato Jr., who had to leave his status as champion after being diagnosed with a rare disease at the beginning of the year.
While Douglas seeks to further consolidate himself as one of the biggest names in the organization, Mousasi needs victory to regain the crown lost to Lovato himself, in June 2019. Former UFC fighter, Gegard is coming off a victory over the Brazilian Lyoto Machida, in a confrontation held in September last year.
Professional in MMA since 2006, this Thursday, the man from Goiás will reach the mark of 40 (32 wins and seven losses) commitments within MMA. His last performance took place just over a year ago, when he surpassed Rory McDonald, won the welterweight GP (Grand Prix) and reached the most desired position in the division.
Also experienced, Mousasi is making his 56th appearance in mixed martial arts. The fighter today has 46 triumphs, seven setbacks and two draws in his career in the sport.
