Gaucho Itamar Rosa is in the final of the middleweight GP of the Jungle Fight. After surprising favorite Kleber Orgulho in September, he managed to knock out Pedro da Rosa and secure a place in the final. The duel was the main attraction of the Jungle Fight 45, an event held on Thursday night (15), in Belém.
Pedro started the fight with more initiative, then tried to use his jiu-jitsu, trying to face the fight with a guillotine. But Itamar soon reversed the situation and put his opponent down. On top, he threw several punches until the technical knockout was declared just over two minutes into the duel.
With the victory, Itamar will make the grand final of the middleweight tournament against Ildemar Marajó. As soon as the event ended, Ildemar climbed into the cage and posed for the traditional face-off in front of Itamar.
