Ultimate is close to making official a fight that promises to be very exciting on the feet. The company negotiates the duel between Marlon moraes e Rob font, valid for bantamweight (61,2kg), for December 19th, an event that will be held in Las Vegas, USA. The information was revealed by reporter Mike Russell and published by the North American website MMA Junkie.

If the meeting is made official, Moraes, 32 years old, will return to action two months after being defeated by Cory Sandhagen. On that occasion, the Brazilian was knocked out in the second round. Currently, the Rio native is in third place in the category ranking and his last victory was against José Aldo, in December 2019. In the same year, Marlon fought for the bantamweight belt against Henry Cejudo, being knocked out in the third round.
On the other hand, Font, 33 years old, is going through a good moment and has equaled his best phase in the organization. 11th in the rankings, the North American won two consecutive fights. The interesting thing is that the athlete had ten fights in the UFC, five of which against Brazilian athletes. Font beat Douglas D'Silva and Thomas almeida and was defeated by John Lineker, Peter Munhoz e Raphael Assunção.
