Ultimate is close to making official a fight that promises strong emotions. The company negotiates the duel between José Aldo e Marlon Vera, valid for bantamweight (61,2kg), for the UFC 255, an event that takes place on November 21st, in Las Vegas, USA. The information was released by journalist Raphael Marinho, from the website Fight.com.
If the meeting is made official, Aldo, 34 years old, will seek to rediscover his winning path and end the worst phase of his career. The Brazilian arrives under pressure for the confrontation, as he has lost the last three fights. The former featherweight champion's most recent victory (65,8kg) was against his compatriot, Renato MoicanoIn 2019.
On the other hand, Vera, 27 years old, is going through a great phase in the organization. The Ecuadorian has won six of his last seven fights, all of which were via the fast track, and the most recent one was held in August 2020, against the promising Sean O'Malley. During this period, 'Chito's' only defeat was against song yadong and the result is still discussed today.
O UFC 255 will be headlined by the flyweight champions (56,7kg), Deiveson Figueiredo e Valentina Shevchenko, who will put their category belts on the line against Alex Perez e Jennifer maia, respectively.
