Ultimate debuted in Chinese territory this Saturday (10) with UFC on FUEL 6, in Macau. But not even the card full of athletes from Asia and even new ring girls from the Continent were enough to attract the local public. The Cotai Arena received only 8.415 fans, who paid a ticket to see the show.
Despite low ticket sales, Mark Fischer, UFC director in Asia, revealed that he is pleased with the organization's debut in China. “It was a night of great fights. We are very pleased to have our first event on Chinese soil”, said the top hat, at the press conference after the event.
As a basis for the low number of tickets sold, in the four recent editions of the UFC in Brazil, all events sold more than 16 thousand tickets.
