Canadian Georges St Pierre returns to the octagon on the 17th, at UFC 154, to face the North American Carlos Condit for the unification of the welterweight titles. But a possible challenge will be in the seats of the Bell Centre, in Montreal, awaiting the outcome of the duel to launch an expected challenge. According to Dana White, president of the UFC, the Brazilian Anderson Silva will be present at the show and, if GSP wins, he wants to climb to the Octagon to challenge the Canadian.

“There is no doubt that Anderson Silva will be there to encourage GSP. He wants GSP to win this fight and he wants to fight him later,” said White. The director made a point of praising the athletes' careers, but ruled out any possibility of Anderson facing Condit, if he were to win.
