Minotouro confirms fight against Rashad and will not assist Minotauro on TUF Brasil 2

The Brazilian Rogério Minotouro confirmed, this Tuesday (06), that his return to the octagon at the beginning of 2013. According to the SUPER FIGHTS had already announced, the brother of Rodrigo Minotauro will face the former light heavyweight champion Rashad evans at UFC 156, an event that takes place on February 2, in Las Vegas, in the United States.

In an interview with the website ”Chave de Armão”, Minotouro considered the duel as his biggest challenge within Ultimate.

“I will face the Rashad evans on February 2nd in Las Vegas. I believe it is my biggest challenge within the UFC. I'm very excited about this fight, it will be a great spectacle for the fans. You can expect a Minotouro who is very hungry for victory, I’m going all out against Rashad”, said Minoto.

With the confirmation of the confrontation and training for the challenge, Rogério had to give up his position as assistant coach of Rodrigo Minotauro on TUF Brasil 2, the UFC reality show. Boxing coach Luiz Dórea takes on the role on Minota's team.

“Unfortunately I won't be able to help Rodrigo (Minotauro) as one of the TUF coaches because I will be doing my camping. But we will study the possibility of me joining the team in the middle of the program. I'm sure he will put someone of high quality in my place”, added Rogério.
