Ildemar Marajó from Pará confirmed his favoritism and advanced in the middleweight GP of the Jungle Fight. In the 44th edition of the show, held this Saturday (27), in Rio de Janeiro, Marajó gave Ederson Lion no chance and needed just over a minute to finish the duel.
With the triumph in the main fight of the Jungle Fight 44, Ildemar, who is the brother of the UFC athlete Iuri Marajó, secured the right to the belt in the up to 84 kg division.
Among the other clashes of the night, also valid for the show's tournaments, Sidney Abedi advanced to the semifinals of the featherweight GP by defeating Ralph Loren by technical knockout. In the lightweight semifinal, Brazilian Dimitry Zebroski did not give Argentine Agustin Acuña a chance and advanced to the final.
