Brazilian fans will have several opportunities to follow the UFC in the country in 2013. After Brazil hosted three editions of the show this year, two in Rio de Janeiro and one in Belo Horizonte, and the return scheduled for the January , the year 2013 should have between five or even seven editions of the UFC in Brazilian territory.

According to Marshall Zelaznik, UFC's director of international development, the organization is interested in holding regional events, with more accessible times and local athletes.
“There is an arena that we use where there is no problem, in Rio de Janeiro. There are production challenges at other sites, although we overcame this in Belo Horizonte. We would like to use arenas with a capacity of 12 to 13 people, but I thought we could use arenas with 5 to 7 seats, but at this point we are becoming more optimistic. We go to cities like Florianópolis, Brasília, Porto Alegre, Recife, Fortaleza and bring live events to the people. We can hold an event in the forests,” said Marshall, in an interview with the North American website MMA Fighting.

Curitiba has half the UFC fighters and they won't fight there? It is the mecca of Brazilian MMA.
Curitiba, in addition to having many MMA fighters, is a birthplace of great fighters, and has many fans. It's not fair to be left out, the Tarumã Gymnasium can be improved, perhaps it already has an Atlético multi-event arena….Curitiba has to move, it can't afford to miss out on events of this size!
the “Amadeu Teixeira Poliesportiva Arena” holds 11.800 people, although jose aldo could defend his title there in manaus, his homeland
