Aldo's former challenger, Erik Koch faces Ricardo Lamas at UFC 155

Featherweight Erik Koch was scheduled to fight for the featherweight belt at UFC Rio 3 against José Aldo, but an injury suffered during training took him out of combat – a few days later, José Aldo was also left out of the event. Now, the North American will have to fight before having another chance at the belt.

This Monday (22), Ultimate announced that Erik will face Ricardo Lamas at UFC 155, an event that takes place on December 29, in Las Vegas, in the United States.

Koch, who has an MMA record of 13 wins and just one loss, has four consecutive victories, the last being over Jonathan Brookins at UFC Fight Night 25, in September 2011. In turn, Lamas, who has a record of 12 wins and two defeats, it also comes from a good sequence of triumphs. He won the three fights he had in the organization, the last being over Hatsu Hioki.
