On November 20th, the UFC begins the realization of an old dream of the organization. Ultimate is holding an edition of the event in China for the first time. UFC on FUEL 6 features as its main attraction the duel between former middleweight champion Rich Franklin against the Vietnamese Cung le. And to promote the show, the event released its first promotional video with the protagonists.
“I have great respect for Rich Franklin, the way he beat Chuck Liddell is unforgettable”, says the Vietnamese. “Cung’s fight against (Frank) Shamrock was legendary”, responds Franklin.
The UFC on FUEL 5 fight program will feature four Brazilians in action: Thiago Silva faces the Bulgarian Stanislav Nedkov, Paulo thiago fights against South Korean Dong Hyun Kim, Marcelo Magrão takes on South Korean Hyun Gyn Lim and John Lineker fights against Japanese Yasuhiro Urushitani.
