Betting on the DNA of the Nurmagomedov family, Bellator announced, this Friday (2), the signing of the cousin of the UFC's lightweight (up to 70,3kg) champion, Khabib. Representative of the under-70,3kg division, Usman signed a multiple fight commitment for the Ultimate competitor and will try to follow the success of his famous relative.

Younger than Khabib, Usman, so far, has a perfect trajectory in MMA. In 11 appearances as a professional in the sport, the Russian doesn't know what it's like to lose.
Proud of his cousin, the UFC champion used his popularity to promote his relative's achievement. On his 'Instagram' account, the 'Eagle' congratulated Usman and thanked Bellator for the opportunity.
“I want to announce that my brother, Usman Nurmagomedov signed a contract with Bellator. I want to thank everyone for giving me this opportunity,” Khabib wrote.
Usman arrives at Bellator to play in the lightweight category. The division, today, is dominated by Brazilians Patrick Pitbull.
Nurmagomedov debuted in mixed martial arts in March 2017. In 11 victories, the Russian has seven knockouts, three submissions and only one fight went to the judges' decision.
