UFC reschedules fight between Marcos Pezão and Alexander Romanov for November 7

Combatants were due to face each other on September 5th, but the confrontation ended up being canceled after the Brazilian tested positive for Covid-19

Recovered from Covid-19, Marcos Foot He already has a date to return to the Octagon. After leaving the fight against Alexander Romanov, which would have taken place on September 5th, the Brazilian had his fight against the Moldovan rescheduled for November 7th, in Las Vegas (USA), on the card headlined by Thiago Marreta e Glover Teixeira. Representative of the heavyweight division (up to 120,2kg.), Pezão arrives at the confrontation looking for his second consecutive victory in Ultimate. The athlete is coming off a great victory over Ben Sosoli, in February this year. On that occasion, the Brazilian surprised his rival with a brutal knockout in the first round.

While Pezão was removed from the September card, Romanov didn't want to wait. The athlete performed the following week and submitted Roque Martinez in the second round. With the result, the athlete made his debut in the organization on the right foot and remained undefeated in his career, with 12 consecutive victories.

A UFC representative since 2014, Marcos will reach the milestone of 25 fights as a professional in the sport in November. The São Paulo native currently has 17 wins, six defeats and one draw.
