Anderson Silva weighs 91 kg. and promises to return the affection of fans

In their last appointment before stepping into the octagon, the fighters participating in UFC Rio 3, on Saturday night (13), went through the scale challenge. At the event's official weigh-in, all athletes reached the limit for their categories.

In the main fight of the night, Anderson Silva who moved up to the light heavyweight division weighed 91,7 kg. almost 1,5 kg. below the category limit. Your opponent, on the other hand, Stephan bonnar, it weighed exactly 93 kg.

“I owe you this, it is super important to repay the affection you gave me. I hope to give a good fight on Saturday”, said Anderson after stepping on the scale.

In turn, Bonnar did not promise victory, but guarantees that he will put on a show for those who follow the duel. “You saw my fights, right? I’m not going to do anything different than what I always do when I enter the octagon,” said Bonnar.
