“I’m looking forward to retiring and seeing struggles and life differently. I've abandoned my dream of becoming UFC champion and just want to enjoy my last four fights and retire as a legend. I will try to leave the scene as well or even better than my beginning in the sport and in the UFC. In that sense, the pandemic was good for me, because I was able to rest, something I never did in those years. I put my feet on the ground and I’m fine,” Sanchez said.

Regarding the future, Sanchez revealed what he has in mind and assured that he will not have any connection with the sport but with his folkloric mentor, Joshua Fabia, and with the humanitarian side.
