Johnny Walker barely won Ryan spann and everything indicates that he will return to the octagon soon. After surviving his opponent's attacks and knocking him out in the first round, UFC Las Vegas 11, the Brazilian challenged Anthony Smith, who quickly responded.

To the North American website SiriusXM, 'Lionheart' was not surprised by Walker's action, he believes that this would be the ideal fight to recover from the heavy defeats suffered against Glover Teixeira e Aleksandar rakic and get back on the path to victory. Angry, Smith promised to beat his rival, as he believes he is a level above him.

Despite not having approved the challenge, Smith praised Walker, as he considers him an interesting fighter.

It is worth remembering that, after losing two consecutive fights at light heavyweight (93kg), Anthony Smith, a former challenger in the category, considered returning to middleweight (83,9kg). The American was defeated three times in his last four fights and his last victory was against Alexander Gustafson, in June 2019.
