The week of UFC Rio 3 continues to be busy in the capital of Rio de Janeiro. On Thursday (11) the fighters José Aldo, Renan Barao, Lyoto Machida, Chris Weidman, Daniel sarafian and Chris Camozzi visited the Instituto Reação, in the Rocinha favela, and brought joy to several children benefiting from the project coordinated by former judoka Flavio Canto.
Around 80 children welcomed the athletes and received popsicles, balloons, a collective class with the athletes and the distribution of gifts. The action was special for Children's Day.
“It’s a great honor to be here. The UFC means a lot to me and it's a big dream to be able to participate a little in a successful project like this. It was worth it just for the energy I felt here. This Saturday I will fight for you”, said Chris Camozzi, who despite fighting on Saturday against Luiz Banha insisted on participating in the event.
“This project is a big dream come true. Being able to be here once again bringing a little joy to you is very important for the UFC. Even more so on Children's Day. I hope you are inspired by these great fighters here. We are very proud of this partnership”, said Marshall Zelaznik, Director of International Development at UFC, to the children present at Instituto Reação

This event was beautiful, I was there, my son is part of Reação, I really thank them because my son loved the fact that this other child came in. He simply loves Instituto Reação.
