the bad phase of Tyron woodley it seems to have no end. The former welterweight champion (77,6kg) was defeated for the third consecutive time, in UFC Las Vegas 11, an event held on Saturday (19), in the USA, and the criticism regarding his performance, which already existed, increased even more. In fact, Dana White himself, president of the UFC, Rashad evans, former fighter and current commentator for the American ESPN and Kamaru Usman, welterweight champion and also a commentator for the network, even called for the veteran to retire.

However, in a video posted on his own Instagram, 'The Chosen One' denied such a possibility. Even though he was defeated by Usman, Gilbert Durinho and recently knocked out by Colby covington, the 38-year-old fighter regretted the latest setback for the enemy, but said he will do everything he can to turn his career around.

“I thank you and love you. It wasn't the way I wanted. I lost to the last person I wanted to lose. I did everything right, but I don't know what happened, but it happened. I have to dust myself off and find a way to fight again and win. I'm not going to retire or give up. I'm also not going to change my coaches, nor change continents. I will move forward and find a way to improve,” Woodley said.

It is worth remembering that Dana White's request for Tyron woodley retiring was due to the fact that the former champion lost 15 rounds in a row, without winning a single one, against the top welterweights (77,6kg). Before entering the worst phase of his career, the former champion had won seven consecutive fights and names like Robbie Lawler, Stephen Thompson, Demian Maia, Darren till e Kelvin Gastelum.
