The Brazilian Erick silva is experiencing a great moment within the UFC welterweight category. Coming off a submission win over Charlie Brenneman, at UFC on FX 3, in June, the athlete from Espírito Santo is scheduled to face the tough Jon Fitch at UFC Rio 3, an event that takes place next Saturday (13), in the capital of Rio de Janeiro.
Erick, who has already been praised by event president Dana White on several occasions, does not hide the secret of his success in the organization: unpredictability.
In an interview with the UFC's official YouTube channel, the Brazilian said that his fighting style complicates the study of his opponents for the confrontation.
“My difference is that I’m an imprintable fighter. When I'm going to fight it's very easy in the category for me to study my opponents, most of them are predictable. But when the guy is going to study me it's different. They stop to watch my fights and think I'm a knockout artist, but there are several fights that I finish. At the time of the fight, I try to do what is the best way to win”, said the Brazilian.
