Anthony Johnson returns to USADA testing list and plans return to UFC for 2021

Fighter is part of a group of fighters evaluated by the United States Anti-Doping Agency and must be able to fight within six months

It took a while, but it arrived. The dreaded Anthony Johnson He is back on the list of athletes tested by USADA (United States Anti-Doping Agency) and will be able to make his return to MMA official in approximately six months. The information was released by 'MMA Fighting'.

Without fighting since the defeat to Daniel Cormier, in 2017, in a challenge valid for the light heavyweight belt (up to 93kg.), Johnson underwent his first USADA test on the 10th. This was the first time that the combatant went through the process since his last appearance.

Officially on the agency's list of athletes, Anthony must now continue to be evaluated for the next six months, to ensure that his body does not contain any prohibited substances.

Johnson, who has always been among the elite in the under-93kg category. will return to the UFC pursuing his dream of winning a title with the organization.
