Wagner Caldeirão's UFC debut didn't go the way the Brazilian expected. Before Phil Davis, the fight lasted less than a minute and a half and had to be stopped due to an accidental poke in the eye suffered by Caldeirão.
With the reunion scheduled for UFC Rio 3, on October 13th, Wagner has a special motivation to achieve his first victory at the event. His fiancée is pregnant with their first child.
In an interview with the UFC's official website, Wagner spoke about the emotion of becoming a father, his first fight against Davis, which ended without result, and his preparation for the reunion.
“The reception I'm going to give him will be bad all the time. I went there and fought at his house, now he will fight at my house”, said the Brazilian.
