the fight between Vitor belfort e Jon Jones, which took place last Saturday (22), still generates controversy. The Brazilian, who had an armbar in place, stated that he lost pressure when the champion's arm snapped, and had his performance analyzed by a fellow countryman. The karateka Lyoto Machida commented on the position taken by Belfort, but revealed that he would bring Jones' arm to Brazil.

“I would never let go of his arm. I would bring my arm here to Brazil. I don't think it eased, I think the Jon Jones I had the merit of getting out of position, I was almost in position, maybe 90% in position, but then the champion's spirit spoke louder”, said Machida, who then praised Belfort's performance.

“Vitor was prepared for that position, he entered very quickly. I always saw loopholes in the game Jon Jones, but for you to exploit these gaps in the heat of the fight, you have to be very well trained”, added the former light heavyweight champion.

It would be the same as the other time he fought with him, he fell like a dead man with his eyes open.

Hello dear Internet users, there is no point minimizing Vitor Belfraco's humiliating defeat, because I don't think anyone saw that armbar. What we all saw very well, was him being brutally beaten for 4 rounds, without any reaction and being submitted. If Jones wanted to, he would have ended the fight in the 1st round. He'd better not even come with this rematch, otherwise he'll take another hit. He'd better retire and go take care of his wife and children.

For those who fight, or have already fought jiu jitsu, you know that it's impossible to get out of an armbar like that, but like he said himself! he's weak...

I agree Lyoto doesn't even tickle Jon Jones, we just have to wait for him to move up a category to catch Ciganão...

  8. I wanted to congratulate Vit Belfor for being a Brazilian fighter, go ahead brother

I saw Lyoto's fight and I understood that he only lost after the elbow, because things were good before that.
