American millionaire, Donald Trump, owner of Affliction shares, spoke yesterday through Yahoo Sports, criticizing the UFC and Dana White's attitude of launching an event in a hurry, on the same day and time to compete with his organization.
“I think it's probably not going to be good for the sport, even though a lot of people are watching (MMA). I have a feeling that we are going after them (the UFC), because we have the best fighters,” said Trump.
The top hat, known for being the presenter of “Apprentice” in the United States, criticized the strategy used by Ultimate:
“I don't know if it's a good business strategy. … I wouldn’t do it,” said Trump, who praised his team of fighters
“We have very good fighters, and we are getting more and more (strong)…” Trump said. “All the fighters want to sign with us, so (Dana White) has to take that very seriously.”
