James Irvin: “Anderson should have moved down to welterweight”

The weather is already starting to heat up for the main fight of UFN-14, which will take place on July 19th, in the United States. The event created by Ultimate to compete with Affliction's debut, will have as its main fight Anderson Silva, UFC middleweight champion, debuting at light heavyweight, facing James Irvin. As is usual, the American is already making controversial statements about the Brazilian. For Irvin, Anderson should go down in category and not go up, and he also adds that he will win the Spider.

“I understand what Silva is doing. There’s no one else for him to beat at 185 (pounds),” Irvin said, “But I think he should have decided on class. He won't be as strong as he was at 185. He won't be able to make a fool of others.” Irvin admits that the Brazilian is better, but believes he won't be strong enough to deal with him.
“He’s a better fighter than me. He’s a more complete fighter than me,” said Irvin. “But I’m bigger and stronger”
