Last challenge of his career Jon Jones, Dominick reyes decided to put differences aside and changed the tone when dealing with the former light heavyweight champion (up to 93kg.). On his 'Twitter' account, 'Bones' former rival stopped teasing and wished the athlete luck in his challenge to move up to the under-120kg category.

"Jon Jones, thanks for the experience, man. I wish you the best of luck on your journey. I know things got a little crazy, but I just wanted to be pushed beyond my limits by the best light heavyweight in history. God bless and I hope we face each other again,” Reyes wrote.
The rivalry between Dominick and Jones came to the fore after the duel between the athletes in UFC 247, in February this year. On that occasion, 'Bones' defeated his compatriot and maintained his old position in a decision contested by fans, the specialized press and even the president of Ultimate, Dana White.
Since his victory, Jones began a campaign for better pay from Ultimate and began rehearsing his change of category. after the UFC 252However, 'Bones' made his move to the heavyweight division official and confirmed that he gave up his position.
Now, Reyes will return to compete for the vacant title. The athlete will face the Pole Jan Blachowicz for the position of new division leader. The clash will take place on September 26th, at UFC 253.
