After his UFC lightweight debut, Renato Moicano has another fight on October 17

The Brazilian has a commitment against Magomed Mustafaev on a card headlined by Brian Ortega and 'Zumbi Coreano'

After putting on a show in his debut in the lightweight division (up to 70,3kg), in March this year, Renato Moicano He already has a new commitment to the UFC. The fighter will face Russian Magomed Mustafaev on the October 17th card, which does not yet have a defined location. The information was released by 'Combate'.

After a negative sequence of two setbacks, last year, when he was still representing the featherweight category (up to 65,7kg), Moicano decided to test himself in the category dominated by Khabib Nurmageomdov. In his first commitment in the new group, Moicano needed less than a minute to finish Damir Hadzović, on the card held in Brasília.

Now, Renato will have the opportunity to prove that he is capable of facing rivals from one of the UFC's most dangerous categories on equal terms. Against Mustafaev, the Brazilian will have the opportunity to confirm his good form and reach the mark of 15 triumphs in his professional MMA career.

While Moicano is coming off a great performance, Magomed wants to erase the defeat in his last confrontation, when he lost to Brad Riddell, in the judges' split decision. Known for his knockout power, the Russian will try to dribble the Brazilian's excellent jiu-jitsu and avoid the second consecutive setback.
