“I'm ranked higher (than Masvidal) and going for my ninth win in a row and you (Masvidal) know that if you beat me, you'll be close to fighting for the belt. Keep hiding behind the excuse you and your team created because you know I'm going to screw you. Has everyone realized that the 'Jesus of the Streets' thing about him being tough was just marketing and that the truth is that Masvidal is just another guy? Or do people still think he’s good?” Edwards wrote on Twitter.
I'm ranked above and heading for my 9th win in a row so you know it gets you closer to the title beating me. But keep hiding behind the 'it does nothing for us' excuse you and your whole bitch made team keep using cus you know ill fuck you up. pic.twitter.com/AlZxyeeSvQ

Unsatisfied, 'Rocky' continued his trash talk and even Brazilian Gilbert Burns was the target of his attacks.
“Screw you, Masvidal, let’s fight! Record it and play it on YouTube, so the public can see that you are nothing. Do it! I'm in a limitless vibe. I just bring facts. I'm the most avoided welterweight. Durinho is a piece of shit too. God bless these s***”, he concluded.
Leon edwards he mentioned 'Durinho', because, recently, they both argued on social media about who would be the next challenger in the welterweight division (77,6kg). The 28-year-old Englishman won ten of the twelve fights he had in the UFC, including victories over the former lightweight champion (70,3kg), Rafael dos Anjos, Gunnar Nelson, Donald Cerrone e Vincent Luque, but has not operated since July 2019.
