Maurício Shogun and Paul Craig have a 'tiebreaker fight' at UFC 255, in November

They asked and were answered. Mauritius Shogun e Paul Craig will once again exchange forces in the UFC 255, which takes place on November 21, at a location not yet defined. The light heavyweights (up to 93kg) settle the score after a draw that occurred last year, in São Paulo. The information was released by 'ESPN'.

Shogun and Craig had one of the main fights of the UFC Sao Paulo, on November 16, 2019. In the clash, the Brazilian and the Scot fought a balanced fight that ended without a winner. In the press conference after the fight, the two athletes declared their intention to repeat the confrontation in the future.

Coming from victory over Rogério Minotouro, Maurício will make his second appearance in 2020. Nearing the end of his career, Shogun, 38 years old, makes no secret of the fact that he intends to have one or two more fights for Ultimate. after the UFC Fight Island 3, when he ended the trilogy with his compatriot, the Curitiba native confirmed that Craig would be a good name for one of his last commitments.

Like the Brazilian, Paul is also coming off a career victory. In the same event in which his next opponent faced Minotouro, the Scot beat Gadzhimurad Antigulov entitled to performance bonuses.

Currently, Paul, 32 years old, is 15th in the light heavyweight rankings, while the Brazilian is 13th.

The main fight of UFC 255 will mark the first defense of the flyweight belt (up to 56,7kg.) Deiveson Figueiredo, which faces cody garbrandt, former bantamweight champion (up to 61,2kg.).
