The UFC fighter, who was transferred to Strikeforce to fight the last fight in the category, suffered a knee injury and will not be able to fight Daniel Cormier, November 3rd. The show's organizers have not yet defined who Mir's replacement will be or whether the duel will be postponed and both athletes will migrate to the UFC.
On the same card, Luke Rockhold, current middleweight champion, once again defends his belt against Lorenz Larkin. If the heavyweight title fight is postponed, this duel could be promoted to the main attraction of the night.
