Coming off three consecutive defeats, Romero would have the fight in which he would try to recover his career. Former challenger for the middleweight belt (under 83,9 kg), the 'Soldado of God' would promote a confrontation that promised to be exciting for spectators.
While the Cuban is going through the worst moment of his MMA career, Hall is trying to climb even higher in the rankings of the division led by Israel adesanya. Uriah comes from two consecutive victories, the last over the Brazilian Antônio 'Shoe Face', in September last year.
Coming off a recent defeat to Adesanya, in the champion's first title defense, Yoel is currently in fifth place in the group. Uriah, in turn, is in 9th.
It is not yet known whether Hall will be kept on the card or will have his commitment postponed by the organization, which has not yet confirmed Romero's departure from the card.
