After cancellation of fight at UFC Rio 3, José Aldo decides to sell motorcycle

After a motorcycle accident earlier this month, which took him out of the UFC Rio 3 card, the Brazilian José Aldo decided to sell the two-wheeler. The featherweight champion's coach, Dedé Pederneiras, revealed that his pupil chose to put aside the pleasure of riding motorcycles in favor of his safety and commitment to Ultimate.

“These are evils that come for good. He has already said he will sell the motorcycle and buy another car. He said that, from now on, he will no longer ride a motorcycle,” said Dedé.

On January 1, Aldo fell off his motorcycle after colliding with a car. The fighter, who was scheduled to defend his belt against Frankie Edgar had his duel canceled due to swelling in his foot suffered during the fall. Despite the unforeseen situation, Dana White, president of the UFC, confirmed that the duel against Edgar will be rescheduled soon.
