Dana White reveals that Lyoto Machida and Dan Henderson should face each other in the UFC

the future of Lyoto Machida in the UFC seems to be defined in the next few days. After Dana White, president of the UFC, stated that the Brazilian had suffered a knee injury and that he had lost his position as the next challenger for the light heavyweight belt, the organization's president revealed what the plans are for the Brazilian athlete.

According to White, Lyoto and Dan Henderson, who would have been Jones' opponent at UFC 151 if he hadn't been injured, must face each other to decide who will be the challenger for the belt.

“You wanted to fight Jon Jones, got to the title fight and didn't accept it. Now you fight Dan Henderson. Now you might not even get to the title again. You lose to Dan Henderson and it's not even close Jon Jones”, commented Dana, analyzing Machida’s situation.

PUBLICITY:

“You take opportunities when they are available. You've earned a chance at a title shot, the fight where you can make the most money. And if you win, the whole world changes overnight.”
