Dana White advises José Aldo to buy a car: “I could have broken a leg”

Motorcycle crash José Aldo removed the featherweight champion from the UFC Rio 3 card, and almost put at risk the fight program that would mark the organization's return to Brazil. Upset with the situation, the president of the event, Dana White, did not fail to give the Brazilian an earful. Visibly frustrated with the cancellation of the duel against the former lightweight champion Frankie Edgar, the manager advised the Brazilian to buy a car.

“I'm not mad at him, but man... I understand that when you're fighting in the WEC (an event that was incorporated into the UFC), you make $4 in one fight and $4 in another. It's hard to buy a car, pay rent and everything else. But he made some more money. If you made money, buy a car. Buy a good car,” said White, in an interview with the North American website MMA Junkie.

White also revealed that he advises his fighters not to ride motorcycles and even considers the possibility of banning Ultimate fighters from having the vehicle.

PUBLICITY:

“It’s not a good idea to drive motorbikes. But will they listen to me and not do this? Perhaps José Aldo Now go, since you have been affected by this. And it could have been much worse. He could have broken a leg”, concluded Dana.
