Due to the success of the four events held in July on the famous 'Fight Island', located in Abu Dhabi, UFC president, Dana White, can't wait to return to the venue. In an interview with 'TMZ Sports', the 'big boss' designed another series of cards for the second half of this year and promised big names to star in the shows.

“I will tell you that Abu Dhabi will become the 'Fighting Capital of the World'. What we are doing there, the infrastructure that has been built, everything we are talking about doing, this place will be a destination. If you are a fight fan, everyone wants to come to Fight Island. Do you know why? Because it's too much. It’s fun and it’s a unique experience right now with all this strange stuff that’s happening in the world,” said the president.

One of the biggest MMA promoters in history, White, doesn't want to wait long for his entourage to return to the United Arab Emirates. Last week, Ultimate returned to holding its events at its headquarters in Las Vegas, but, depending on Dana, UFC fans will soon be able to watch fights broadcast directly from Abu Dhabi.

“Probably September or October. Everyone wants to go there now. The 'octagon girls' want to go, everyone does. We are working on some fights now for this next trip. Obviously, a lot of the big international stars are going to fight there, I mean, on this next trip we're going to take there. I’ll probably stay there for five weeks”, he concluded.

The presentations on 'Ilha da Luta' serve as an alternative for athletes who do not reside in the United States to work. Due to the coronavirus pandemic, many professionals have found it difficult to regularize their work visas to work in North American territory.
