The BRAVE Combat Federation returned to its activities, after the forced break due to the Covid-19 pandemic, in style. At the show, held last Monday in Romania, a spectacular knockout marked the edition. Romanian Mihai Laurentiu Iorga threw a high kick and sent Ioan Vranceanu to the canvas in a brutal way (see below)

After a very busy first round, Iorga returned determined to end the fight and to do so in style. With a precise movement, he opened the way for a high kick that connected directly on Vranceanu's temple, who fell immediately and did not even receive additional blows, such was the violence of the blow.

If the second fight of the night already raised the level of expectations considerably, the rest of the card left nothing to be desired and the co-main fight of the night was marked by an impressive turnaround, in a fight full of emotions between the Romanian Ion Grigore and the Senegalese kickboxer Lamine Sene.

Sene started the fight by imposing his striking history and voraciously attacking the home athlete. Surrounding his opponent on the cage, the Senegalese delivered a brutal sequence of uppercuts and elbows, and it seemed for a moment that Grigore would survive to see the second round.

Saved by the bell, the Romanian returned for the second round and quickly found himself in a disadvantageous position again, but the unlikely happened and, already very tired and still unable to achieve the knockout, Sene was at a disadvantage and Grigore capitalized well on the chance he had, taking the rival to the canvas. Immediately after the triumph, the Romanian threw himself to the ground, completely exhausted.

In the main fight of the night, Italian Enrico Cortese defeated Claudiu Alexe by submission, with the Romanian giving up the fight amid a devastating ground and pound sequence in the first round.

BRAVE Combat Federation returns next Monday (27) with another card in Romania. BRAVE CF 36 will have a Brazilian in the main fight, Amilcar Alves, who will face Todd Stoute.
