the american Chael Sonnen never tires of creating controversies in the world of MMA. The controversial fighter, who, earlier this week, praised Vitor belfort and declared his support for the Brazilian in the duel against Jon Jones seems to have gone back. Sonnen says he remains ready to challenge for the light heavyweight belt and face Jones at UFC 152, September 22nd. According to him, Belfort, who has a recent history of several injuries, never appears in his fights.

“I have a deal to fight a gentleman named Forrest griffin, on December 29th, but I don't know. Jon Jones will fight against Vitor belfort on September 22nd, but Vitor never shows up. He has been left out of fights more than he has shown himself to be. So if I had to guess, you'd see me fighting Jon Jones on September 22nd,” said Sonnen.

Chael Sonnen would initially be the opponent of Jon Jones, as a substitute for Dan Henderson, injured, at UFC 151, September 1st.
