the return of Chael Sonnen to the octagon is defined. The controversial North American returns to the light heavyweight division to face Forrest griffin. The duel is on the main card of 155, an event that takes place on December 29th, in Las Vegas, in the United States.
After competing and losing the UFC middleweight belt (up to 84 kg.) on two occasions, Anderson Silva, Sonnen changes categories and returns to the light heavyweight division after seven years. In his last fight in the category, in 2005, Chael was submitted by Renato Babalu, at UFC 55.

In turn, Forrest, who has a record of 19 wins and seven losses, is trying to score his second consecutive victory in the organization. In his last fight, held at UFC 148 in July, the former UFC champion closed the trilogy against Tito Ortiz with victory in a split decision by the judges.

The fight between Sonnen and Griffin is the second duel announced in the UFC 155 fight program, an event that will have as its main attraction the Brazilian's second title defense junior gypsy, which puts the heavyweight title on the line against the American Cain Velazquez.
