“He is an excellent fighter. He keeps the distance very well, he has part of the distance very clear in his head. He's a good fighter, but I don't believe he's a 100% complete guy, with an excellent ground game. He defends takedowns well, and he's a dangerous guy (…), who doesn't talk a lot of nonsense either, and I don't have to say anything bad about him. If the guy doesn't say anything, I don't have anything to say either. I think it will be a good test for him and for me too”, said the Brazilian.

Close to turning 43, Fabrício is heading into his last fight under his current contract with the UFC. Although he recently stated that he does not rule out retirement soon, the Brazilian suggested that he still intends to perform more often in 2020.

“I want to fight a couple more times this year. I'm going to fight the last one of my contract now with Gustafsson. Then one or two more this year. Let's see if we can do it. It all depends on the next fight, which, in reality, is all I'm thinking about at the moment. I'm 100% focused, it's even difficult to think about what I'm going to do next. This focus thing, your head, has to be 100%. I've had this situation, where I'm thinking about the future, about something else, and it doesn't work. The thing is to think about the next one”, he said.
