The UFC heavyweight champion (up to 120,2kg), Stipe Miocic, did not miss a comment from a follower who questioned his participation in the chain of publications against racism, which took place last Tuesday (2). After sharing, on Instagram, the black image with the hashtag 'blackouttuesday' (dark Tuesday), a fan used the space to comment on the North American attitude.

“I think you forgot that the majority of your fans are white. This is proven in the comments”, asked a follower.
Upon learning of the follower's statement, it didn't take long for the champion to assume a contesting stance and respond to the comment.
"All good. I'm not worried about my fan base. I’m worried about the world my daughter will grow up in,” replied the American.
Stipe's publication followed a trend that preaches respect and solidarity with the death of security guard George Floyd, cowardly killed by a police officer in the United States at the end of May, in addition to several black victims murdered daily around the world. In recent days, the world has seen several demonstrations, in different countries, trying to confront the recurrent racism in society.
Just like Miocic, other UFC athletes also joined the hashtag. Fighters as well as champions Kamaru Usman, Jon Jones e Amanda nunes also joined the campaign.
