Diego Brandão is confirmed on the UFC Rio 3 card

The manauara Diego Brandao is another Brazilian confirmed on the UFC 153 card, also called UFC Rio 3, an event that takes place on October 13th, at the HSBC Arena, in the capital of Rio de Janeiro. The Tupiniquim athlete confirmed, through his Twitter account, that he will face the North American Joey Gambino.

Brandão, who became known for becoming the first Brazilian to win TUF, the UFC's reality show in the United States, has a record of 14 wins and eight losses. But after winning The Ultimate Fighter, Diego returned to the octagon with a setback, when he was defeated by Darren Elkins at UFC 146, held in May.

In turn, Gambino has a professional record of nine wins and one defeat, and like Brandão, the American also comes from a setback in the organization. He was submitted by Steven Siler at UFC on FX 4, held in June.
