The Brazilian Amanda ribas asked, and Ultimate will answer. The athlete is close to having her fight against paige vanzant confirmed by the organization for July 11th, at a location to be confirmed. The athletes were scheduled for a clash in the UFC Brasilia, which took place in March, but an injury took the American out of the challenge. The fight will take place in the flyweight division (up to 56,7kg). The information was released by 'Combate'.

With three great performances in Ultimate, Amanda ribas became a pleasant surprise for Brazilian fans in the organization. After hitting emily whitmire, Mackenzie dern e Randa markos, it didn't take long for the Minas Gerais company to occupy 15th place in the straw ranking (up to 52,1kg.).
After his last commitment, Ribas confirmed that he still wanted to face VanZant. As she is a well-known competitor among MMA spectators, Amanda believes that a victory could promote her even further within the company. At 26 years old, the athlete from Varginha (MG) has 10 appearances as a professional and nine victories.
Without fighting since January last year and nearing the end of her contract with the UFC, Paige, who is coming off a victory over Rachael Ostovich, wants to prove that she deserves to have her contract renewed and dreams of winning a belt with the company. The North American debuted for the organization in November 2014 and had eight matches for the company, winning five and losing three.
On his official Instagram account, VanZant suggested that the battle could take place on the long-awaited 'Ilha da Luta', which does not yet have an official date for receiving cards.
“Heading to an island near you,” Paige wrote.
