On Monday night, the North American Alan belcher gave indications that his next fight would be in the southern hemisphere, that is, in Brazil, in the third edition of UFC Rio 3, on October 13th. “My next fight will be the biggest of my career. Maybe I’ll take a trip to the south, the extreme south”, wrote Belcher on the microblog.
Belcher's opponent, it seems, would be the Brazilian Vitor belfort in the duel that would put the winner very close to the fight for the Anderson Silva.
Belcher has an MMA record of 18 wins and six losses and is on a run of four consecutive victories, the last being over the Brazilian Rousimar Toquinho at UFC on FOX 3, in May this year.
In turn, Vitor, who has a professional record of 21 wins and nine losses, is trying for a new chance to challenge for the UFC belt. The Brazilian, who is recovering from a hand injury, last fought in January, when he submitted Anthony Johnson at UFC Rio 2, in January.
