Dana White evaluates superfight between Jon Jones and Francis Ngannou: 'Anything is possible'

President of Ultimate talks about verbal agreement between North American and French-Cameroonian for confrontation and does not rule out promoting the fight

What started as an exchange of unpretentious messages can become reality. After Jon Jones e Francis Ngannou stirred up fans by sealing a verbal agreement for a confrontation, Ultimate's president, Dana White, did not rule out the possibility. In a press conference held after the UFC Overeem vs. Harris, this Saturday (16), in Jacksonville, the 'big boss' spoke about the subject.

"Everything is possible. I mean, I don't know if those guys really want the fight, you know? But let me tell you, I don't know if this is the case for both, but you see a lot of conversations online, but promoting fights is a totally different game”, said the agent.

This week, Jones surprised the MMA world by stating that would accept a confrontation against one of the most feared men in the organization. In a post on Twitter, the athlete said that, for the right money, he would accept moving up a division to test himself against Ngannou, who recently ran over the promising Jairzinho Rozenstruik No. UFC 249.

Upon learning of the attack by the light heavyweight champion (up to 93kg), Francis didn't take long to respond positively and was open to the superfight.
