The Brazilian Rodrigo 'Zé Hive' debuted on the right foot in Ultimate. In the fight against Don'Tale Mayans, held this Saturday (16), for UFC Overeem vs. Harris, in Jacksonville (USA), the athlete needed two rounds to show that he deserves to be included in the organization's heavyweight division (up to 120,2kg). After a balanced first round, the Minas Gerais native managed to secure a rear-naked choke in the second stage.

The fight
The confrontation started tensely, with the athletes throwing good punches and kicks to the waist. Confident in the confrontation, Rodrigo alternated between jabs and straight shots and takedown attempts on his opponent. Mayans looked dangerous in his counterattacks and sought to surprise the Minas Gerais player in some situations during the assault. Halfway through the round, the Brazilian started grappling and attempted a submission. Tale managed to defend himself and almost managed to land a round punch, which stopped in the Brazilian's guard. In the end, Mayans had the advantage with jabs, but there was no more time.
