Alvarez believes in conditioning as key in the GP

With almost a month to go until the final of the Dream lightweight GP, American Eddie Alvarez is already working towards the biggest challenge of his career.

Alvarez is scheduled to face the Japanese, Tatsuya Kawajiri, in the semi-final of the tournament, on the 21st in Osaka, Japan. If he manages to win, he will later return to the ring, to face the winner of the other semi-final between Shinya Aoki and Caol One. The American believes that conditioning will be fundamental for the tournament champion.

“I think a key factor for the finals will be conditioning,” Alvarez said. “I think Kawajiri has a number of strengths. And I think that what he is good at, I am equal to or a little better”, said the young man with great confidence
