Gabriel entered the octagon trying to recover from the defeat he suffered in his last match, when he was beaten by Sodiq Yusuf, in August last year, at UFC 241. The athlete, however, ended up finding an opponent undefeated in his MMA career and willing to sell the defeat dearly.
Over three rounds, the athletes had one of the most exciting clashes on the card and, after the end of the show, Omar ended up being declared the winner with a unanimous decision by the judges.
