Boxing legend practicing gauntlet with Brazilian coach fuels rumors about heavyweight return

One of the biggest names in boxing history, Mike Tyson Ignited fans again with a new video of a training session with Brazilian coach, Rafael Cordeiro. At 53 years old, the former world heavyweight champion increases rumors about a possible return to the ring.

“Anything is possible when you are smart. Train smart. Recover wisely”, wrote the legend of the 'noble art'.

In the video lasting less than a minute, the former champion appears practicing gauntlets with Cordeiro and, after a compilation of worked sequences of blows, the American turns to the camera and states: 'I'm back'.

Last week, the president of Bare Knuckle FC (boxing without gloves), David Feldman, confirmed the information that offered a million-dollar sum to have Tyson in his group of fighters. Mike, however, did not speak publicly about the motivation for training with Rafael.

The trainer himself stated that he is unaware of the news whether Mike will return to the ring. Cordeiro, however, said that the fighter would be fully capable of putting on an exhibition fight and still has the knockout power to take down any opponent.

Tyson last played professionally in June 2015, when he was defeated by Kevin McBride. As a boxing athlete, Mike had 58 fights, with 50 wins, six losses and two unsuccessful matches. The athlete boasts an impressive 44 knockouts.
